History: Near the shores of Fell Island, there are sightings of a great giant squid snatching those unfortunate enough to set sail in the fresh water, mostly at night. Of course, this doesn't stop a scientist and his crew from tracking it down to see exactly what's causing the local fish economy to take a nosedive. Can you guess what happens next?

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After terrorizing his ship for so long, the squid is impaled through the eye via harpoon, which is instantly electrocuted as part of a successful plan to kill it.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Credit where it's due, at least they tried to use real tentacle props this time. Sadly, all they really do when they don’t have a person ensnared is flop around limply. And then there's the squid itself. A near-lifeless CGI beast that doesn't even make most of its body known until the end.

Trivia: -As we have stated before once, there is only one species of freshwater cephalopod, and it is the Chesapeake squid, or the Atlantic Brief squid. It is no bigger than one-third of an inch, and only eats small fish and crustaceans.

-As if this film wasn't already similar to "Jaws", the two films share the same name of the first on-screen victim. That being Krissy.
